Newell fire and rescue was dispatched to a school bus overturned on Old Concord Road. Reports indicated as many as 25 patients on the bus. Heavy Rescue 1 arrived to find a bus on its roof and down an embankment. All of the occupants were out of the bus. Newell assisted Charlotte fire companies with triage and patient care, stabilizing the bus and controlling a fuel leak on the bus.
