Charlotte, NC- Just after 2 :30 pm on Tuesday, Charlotte Fire Dept, Newell FD along with CMPD and Medic responded to a 5-car crash on WT Harris near the Rocky River Rd intersection. The driver of 1 car died on scene. Firefighters were able to cut free 2 other people who were trapped in their vehicles. A sedan that was carry three (3) children was one of the five vehicles involved in this tragic crash. Charlotte Fire Officials credit PROPER use of the car seats by the grandmother in preventing any injuries to the children. The children although shook up walked away from this crash.
