Newell and Mallard Creek responded to an MVA involving a
State Trooper. The Trooper's car was struck while he was
parked on the side of the ramp from I-485 to I-85. A car
traveling at a high rate of speed down the sharp ramp
lost control and struck the rear end of the police
vehicle. The Trooper was transported with non-life
threatening injuries.
