Newell rescue was alerted for a MVA on I-485 at I-85
with an overturned vehicle. Newell Engine 1 was in the
area and responded on the call. Units arrived to find a
2 vehicle accident with one overturned and leaking fuel.
Crews worked to contain the fuel spill and treat
patients. A secondary collision occurred while companies
were on scene. the second MVA had patients trapped in
one vehicle. Both were quickly freed.
