Severe Storms Cause Havoc on I-485

A mid-morning thunderstorm caused several accidents on I-485. Newell, Mallard Creek and CFD companies responded to I-485 at North Tryon for a pin-in. Newell was dispatched with Robinson to another MVA at I-485 and Rocky River Road as the first incident was cleared. A third accident involving a SUV that rolled over was dispatched while companies were operating at the second incident. Newell also responded to a lightning strike in Harrisburg during the storm.
