Newell Fire answered a special request to the
Cabarrus County town of Midland for the ethanol tanker
overturned and leaking. Heavy Rescue 1 responded with 5
for manpower. Newell personnel assisted with foam
handlines, rehab and the cascade system throughout the
day. Personnel rotated throughout the day to assist with
the incident and provide coverage at Newell.
