Penstemons Drive House Fire


July 7, 2001
An early morning fire destroyed a house on Penstemons Drive. Neighbors called 911 when they smelled smoke in their neighborhood. No one was at home at the time of the fire. 2 engines and a rescue from Newell, 1 engine from Robinson, 1 engine from Harrisburg, 2 engines and a ladder from Charlotte, and 1 tanker from Mint Hill responded. One fireman was injured.
