Working Fire


March 30, 2006
Robinson, Newell and Harrisburg were alerted for a working house fire with children trapped on Starwood Avenue. Newell Engine 2 arrived to find heavy fire showing from a 2-story wood framed house. Newell and Charlotte members advanced 2 lines into the structure for fire attack. A primary search was conducted and the structure was all clear. The fire was controlled in 19 minutes. The house was a total loss. No one was injured in the fire. Newell members were on scene for about 3 hours conducting overhaul.
