Newell Engine 1 responded to a reported house fire on Rocky River Road West in the City of Charlotte. Newell Engine 1 arrived to find fire visible from the second story of a two-story wood frame house. Due to the long driveway, Engine 1 laid a dry supply line at the street and CFD Engine 34 completed the lay to a water source. Newell and CFD units quickly extinguished the fire, preventing fire damage to the rest of the house. No one was injured in the fire.
